Pairing and Connecting WaterMe

Following the steps to pair your WaterMe you will receive a successful notification message indicating that WaterMe has been paired to your Wi-Fi network. If after 2 mins the main status indication light does not display green there are a couple of methods to ensure successful connection.

1. Ensure that WaterMe is close distance to the Wi-Fi modem during connection
2. Power WaterMe off, wait 10 seconds and then power the unit back on

The WaterMe license/serial number found on the back of the packaging and under the blue front housing does not have to be inputted with ‘spaces’ and is not ‘case sensitive’. For example 215 521 3SJ SA5 can be input as 2155213sj.

1. If your license number is still not being recognised ensure that you have not accidentally input numerical 0 with O or vice versa

Ensure that your mobile phone (Apple or Android) is connected to the same Wi-Fi network that you are intending to connect WaterMe too.

1. If the two devices are on separate Wi-Fi networks pairing via mobile will not be successful.
2. Ensure that you have inputted your correct SSID and Wi-Fi Password

WaterMe is constantly connected to a remote server, occasionally the WaterMe will refresh this connection and drop the solid green light. WaterMe will typically connect back to the WaterMe server shortly after. This is normal behavior for the device.

Controller

Yes, WaterMe has an internal programmable memory. Once schedules, zones and settings have been set, WaterMe will store that information on the controller until there are any changes. If the internet goes down, or Wi-Fi is unavailable WaterMe will continue to run schedules that have been previously programmed into the memory.

  • Switch off the controller, wait ten seconds then switch back on
